APCOLL soluble collagen is under controlled
conditions to ensure the triple helical
structure, which is integral for functionality, is
preserved during processing.
APCOLL
collagen is available as an acid solubilised collagen or as a
pepsin-solubilised collagen and can be manufactured to
customer requirements in terms of animal age, aqueous solvent,
pH and concentration.
The purified APCOLL soluble collagen
solution is suitable for use in a variety of applications including
tissue engineering as a scaffold for cells, haemostats, wound
healing dressings and prosthetic implant coatings.
Selected split hides from approved abattoirs are shipped directly
to customers for further processing. |
The corium splits ground to individual
customer requirements. |
Acid swollen collagen gels prepared in solids range 4% - 10%.
These gels can then be used directly or further diluted by the end
user for a variety of coating purposes. |
Fibrillar collagen dispersions provided in a
concentration range of 3-5mg/ml. |

supplied as powder. |
Custom made sponges can be produced to
